Do your friends drive Jeeps that haven't so much as seen a dirt road?  Swap out their fancy recovery shackles with one of these! 

They'll never miss it!

I suggest splitting the shackle into two pieces to print, and then gluing them back together.  If you have a multimaterial printer, you can print the shackle body in one piece using two incompatibale materials like PETG with PLA supports, or ASA with HIPS supports.  The Pin and Nut can be placed flat on the build plate or split for added strength.  

If you want this to last on your buddy's bumper, print from PETG or ASA.
